Positive emotion comes from attaining goals.  If your rental/loaner department is operated by

a team that lacks direction, does not have goals to reach and suffers from career satisfaction -

that can be improved.  Successful departments measure the entire life of the unit from the day

it's placed into fleet as a replacement vehicle until the day it is sold to a CPO customer.

What is my true profit?

Your dealership may have hundreds of thousands of dollars in rental/loaner inventory.   

Some have $2-3 million at any given time. Regardless of the amount, the rental/loaner

department feels like a twist and turning area that most do not take the time to fully grasp.

over 15 years as the National Consultant for an OEM and 11 years with the

largest car rental organization in the country.
